The Directorate of Plan and Policy is one of the key departments of Afghanistan Land Authority – ARAZI. Since the establishment of the National Land Policy Plan, laws, regulations, procedures and all working plans are executed within the framework of the directorate.
In order to achieve the main goals of the Afghanistan Land Authority, the directorate supervises the timely implementation of the plans and strategies adopted, in close coordination with other technical sections. Making of policy for effective land management, economic growth of the country, developing regulation of land law, acquisition of property, land lease procedures, procedure for deeds, land exchange procedure, land clearance procedure, and the technical procedure for identifying the land suitable for resettlement of returnees and internally displaced people.
The Directorate of Plan and Policy, with a team of 21 employees, is determined to streamline the transparent provision of land management services to Afghans and to design effective policies in this direction, by matching land applicants in the center and provinces with convenient and affordable services.
