In continuation of land restitution, this time, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land- MUDL has restituted 39 jeribs (7 hectares) of grabbed land northern Samangan province. The land – situated in Dasht village of Dara Sof district of the province – was used by land usurpers for years and the ministry managed to restitute it to be used efficiently. It is worth mentioning that the MUDL since 1392, solar year has restituted more than 11,300 jeribs (2,260 hectares) of grabbed lands in city and four other districts of the province. Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land in past five years not only restituted over 500,000 jeribs (100,000 hectares) of land but also submitted a list of 18,823 usurpers to justice and judicial departments.
