MORE THAN 3,000 JERIBS OF LAND CLEARS IN BAGHLAN

In proceed of state-owned and private land clearance, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has cleared 3,157 jeribs (631 hectares) of state-owned and private land in different parts of northern Baghlan province. The land was cleared up to solve land dispute in the province and out of the total; 32 jeribs (6.4 hectares) of state-owned land has been cleared up in Doshi district, 745 jeribs (149 hectares) in Khenjan district, 2,000 jeribs (400 hectares) in Pulkhumry, the provincial city of Baghlan province, 4 jeribs private land in Dahan Bagh district and the remaining 376 jeribs (75.2 hectares) in Tala wa Barfak districts of the province. The land was cleared for the purpose of constructing Baghlan Doshi – Kabul road, implementation process of Urban Master Plan and distinguishing private and state-owned land. The Ministry of Urban Development and Land has cleared 1,208,400 jeribs (241,680 hectares) of state-owned land and public properties under state institutions use across the country.
