The Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MULD has completed the implementation program of the Afghanistan Land Pricing Information System (ALPIS) by collecting 2,147 samples from six PDs in Gardis, the provincial city of Paktia province. Out of the total, 845 samples have been collected from houses for sale, 728 samples from rental houses and the remaining 574 samples from mortgages in the city. The Ministry of Urban Development and Land has established the Afghanistan Land Pricing Information System (ALPIS) to precise minimum prices of land, land leases, sales, mortgages, land acquisition, provide urban services, execution or registration of deeds, rental or sale of state-owned properties and as well as reduce corruption in this regard in the country.
