Department of Gender

The Gender Department was created in 1393, solar year, to maintain gender equality, promote women's contribution in ARAZI affairs.

Supporting gender equality in order to complete at least 30% of female employees by 2020, implementing an employment plan with priority to qualifying women in the recruitment process, identifying and ensuring working relationships with women's organizations and social groups, and implementing a counter-harassment policy and sexual discrimination and  reaching-out to complaints, are main responsibilities of the department.

Along with various groups the department was able to create a commission for resolution of women’s problems and public awareness anti-violence campaign in ARAZI. 

Establishment of a commission on the prevention of female harassment in office, conducting training programs and awareness of Law on the Elimination of Violence against Women, the establishment of a gender equality working group and opening of a kindergarten in ARAZI, are the achievements of this department in last three years.
